Oven roasted asparagus wrapped in parma ham

This elegant starter is more of an assemble piece- very little effort involved.

As I am a cookery enthusiast, and certainly not a trained cook, I keep my appearances on television a guarded secret. However, this very simple, but I like to think, glamorous starter served me well on the ITV series. Adrenalin was pumping and in my nervous state this dish was quick to assemble and place in the oven. It seems overkill to list a section for ingredients & method for this one but I have included them below.


1 pack of asparagus

1 pack of parm ham


Cut off the woody stalk part of each asparagus and wrap with a piece of parma ham and place in the oven 200C or top oven, middle shelf. Keep an eye on them as they don't take long.
